SanDisk Files Patent Suit Over Flash Memory

SanDisk, a leading maker of flash memory used in consumer electronics, said that it has filed a suit alleging patent infringement against top digital-media manufacturers. The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company filed the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against four leading makers of digital-recording media in the United States, Japan and Taiwan.
