Some States Tell Judge They Oppose Microsoft Settlement

The oft-troubled marriage of state and federal prosecutors in the Microsoft Corp. antitrust case dissolved, and with it any chance that the long-running litigation will end soon. Nine states and the District of Columbia told U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly that, for now, they could not support an agreement reached last week between the company and the Justice Department.
