AltaVista, Google Remove Controversial Links After Complaints

AltaVista and Google have agreed to delete links to instructions on how to sabotage rail systems after Germany's national railway, Deutsche Bahn, complained to the search engines. Krista Thomas, marketing and communications director for AltaVista, said Deutsche Bahn representatives simply asked for the removal of the material, which apparently came from an extremist German publication, Radikal.
