Computer Privacy Conference Focuses on Fallout from 9/11

Technologists, free-speech experts and general hangers-on at the Computers Freedom & Privacy conference in San Francisco are grappling with the question of who will ensure that technologies are not abused in the name of protecting citizens from terrorism.
