Court Rules Against Ban on Computer Use

A man convicted of possessing child pornography can't be barred from using a computer during his period of supervised release, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled. The court found that the restriction imposed on Gregory Sofsky by a judge in the Eastern District of New York "inflicts a greater deprivation of Sofsky's liberty than is reasonably necessary."
