Court Strikes Down Ban on Internet Wine Sales

A state law banning the shipment of wine and beer from out-of-state vineyards and breweries to Virginia residents is unconstitutional, a federal judge ruled. Judge Richard L. Williams ruled that the law violates the Constitution by discriminating against companies in other states that want to sell wine or beer directly to Virginia consumers.
