Just hours before the deadline for shareholders to vote on the merger between Hewlett-Packard Co. and Compaq Computer Corp., HP chief executive Carly Fiorina participated in a conference call with Deutsche Bank officials and pleaded for their support. "It is of great importance to our ongoing relationship. We would very much like to have your support here," Fiorina said, according to a transcript read aloud in court.
