Lawmakers Want Orbitz Investigation Stepped Up
Two-dozen House lawmakers urged the U.S. Justice Department to step up its ongoing investigation into allegations that the Orbitz online airfare collaboration is violating anti-competition laws. In a letter to Justice officials, 22 House legislators joined Reps. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and Rick Boucher (D-Va.) in protesting the business practices of Orbitz, an online travel booking service started last summer by American, Continental, Delta, Northwest and United Airlines.
