Microsoft Asks Judge to Reconsider "Lindows" Ruling

Microsoft has asked a federal judge hearing its trademark-infringement case against Lindows.com to reconsider his ruling that questioned the validity of the software giant's "Windows" marks. U.S. District Judge John Coughenour on March 15 rejected Microsoft's request for a pre-trial injunction shutting down the Lindows.com Web site and halting distribution of LindowsOS software for running Windows programs on Linux.
