NeuStar Extends Deadline for Claims to ".us" Domains

The company that operates America's sovereign "dot-us" Internet domain has extended the deadline for trademark holders to pre-register their marks as dot-us Web addresses. Washington, D.C.-based NeuStar Inc., which last year won the government contract to operate dot-us, announced that it would extend its trademark "sunrise" period through April 16.
