Online Auction Fraud Still Top Complaint, Study Says

Auction fraud continues to be the biggest Internet-fraud complaint, but is on a gradual decline, according to a new study. The first data-trends report by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Internet Fraud Complaint Center and the National White Collar Crime Center showed that nearly 43% of 49,711 complaints for all of last year were regarding auction fraud.
