RIAA Sues Technicolor for Pirating CDs

The Recording Industry Association of America has sued Thomson Multimedia unit Technicolor Inc., accusing it of pirating CDs by big-name artists, adding yet another battle in its war against online and offline violation of music copyrights. The suit, filed last in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, accused Technicolor of illegally copying and distributing pirated CDs by N-Sync, Celine Dion, Julio Iglesias and other superstar recording artists, the RIAA said.
