Conservatives More Likely to Vote in Online Polls, Study Says

Democrats and Republicans alike turned to the Internet for news during last fall's elections, but conservatives were more likely to weigh in on online polls, according to a study. The nonprofit Pew Internet and American Life project found that the Internet continued to grow as a source of news and political information during the Nov. 5 midterm elections, as more users turned to their computers to look up news and research candidate positions than in the last midterm election four years ago.
