Judge Says Amazon Does Not Have to Honor Wrong Sale Price

A judge in small claims court in Seattle said online retail giant Amazon.com does not have to honor a sale price listed on its Web site if that price is a mistake. "If it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true," Judge Eileen Kato said in the case, which involved an RCA 36-inch television, originally priced at $1,049, marked down roughly 90 percent to $99.99.
