California Attorney General Studying Peer-to-Peer Networks

Peer-to-peer companies are facing new and unwelcome scrutiny from state prosecutors, in a recent development powerful Hollywood lobbyists are backing. A Feb. 25 draft letter that appears to have been edited for California Attorney General Bill Lockyer's office, places the controversial networks in the center of a set of legal crosshairs.
