Defamation Trial Begins Over N.Y. Times' Use of Website Graphic

Jury selection begins in a "defamation by implication" libel suit against The New York Times brought by Franklin Prescriptions Inc., a Philadelphia company that claims the newspaper harmed its reputation by using an image from the company Web site to illustrate an article about illicit online drug sales. Franklin Prescriptions says that use of its Internet site as a graphic implied they were guilty of illegal conduct.
