France Plans National Internet Filter System for Schools
France plans to install a nation-wide Internet filter system in its state schools to deny pupils access to racist and anti-Semitic Web sites, the prime minister's office announced. The system will be updated centrally on a daily basis, with input on anti-Semitic sites provided by the CRIF umbrella group of Jewish organizations in France, it said in a statement after a government meeting coordinating action against hate crimes.
