Hewlett-Packard Sues Gateway for Patent Infringement

Hewlett-Packard sued Gateway for patent infringement as part of a stepped-up campaign to seek compensation for what it claims as its intellectual property. Hewlett Packard Development Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Palo Alto, Calif.-based HP, filed the suit against Gateway in a district court in Southern California.
