Microsoft Expected to Face $617 Million Fine in Europe

European regulators plan to levy a record fine of more than $600 million against Microsoft as part of what is expected to be a strongly worded rebuke of the company's business practices. The ruling is expected to include a fine approaching $617 million (500 million Euros), according to a source.
