Sentencing Commission Reviewing Comments on CAN-SPAM Act

While many e-mail account holders would like to throw spammers in the slammer and throw away the key, some legal experts are arguing for leniency in enforcing the federal Can-Spam law. The United States Sentencing Commission is scheduled to meet to review public comment on how to enforce the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act.
