Fill U.S. Technology Posts Quickly, Report Says

Presidential appointments to senior science and technology posts should be filled more quickly and without regard to political affiliation, a new report from the nonpartisan National Academies urged. The group said it issued the report amid concerns that appointments to the positions have become increasingly politicized.
